Youth Empowerment Program

2025 was the year we served the most students and families to date. The 4th Annual Heart To Heart Youth Empowerment Program Holiday Giveback was magical! During the holiday season, we were honored to serve 1,400 students and families, spreading hope, love, and joy throughout our community.

Because of the incredible support of our community partners, sponsors, and volunteers, the holidays were made brighter as students received toys, clothing, hygiene items, and food—meeting both hearts and needs during the season of giving. When we link arms, real impact happens. Thank you to everyone who stood with us and helped make this powerful giveback event possible. Together, we are building stronger families and brighter futures.

Highlights & Events

The Annual Heart To Heart Back To School drive will be held Saturday, August 1st from 9:30-11:30am at C. T. Sewell Elementary School. This is a community wide event, providing students with essential items to kickstart the new school year. Over 2,000 students will be given backpacks, school supplies, hygiene items, snack packs and haircut vouchers. Families will also enjoy fun games and delicious, sweet treats by Donut NV!

We’d like to give a special shoutout to our event sponsors and community partners! Thank you Nwogbe Law Group, Capriotti’s and RandB Catering for your continued support. Children in our community will be equipped and ready to start a new school year. It’s community partners like you, bringing about real change in our community. Thank you!

March- Honoring Women’s History Month

In March, we had the distinct honor of recognizing women who were nominated for exemplifying boldness and leading with unwavering courage within their communities.

This Women’s History Month, we celebrated strength, community, and connection with a ladies hike at Lone Mountain. Moving our bodies and conquering peaks together, we enjoyed a peaceful walk along the scenic Lone Mountain trail.

We laughed, connected over great conversations, poured into one another and ultimately walked away with a renewed strength and energy. Stay tuned for the next!
