Aisja Nwogbe
Aisja Nwogbe is a Las Vegas native who currently serves the Las Vegas legal community as the Director of Operations for Nwogbe Law Group. She has been in the legal field since she was 15 years old working for the District Attorney's Office, family law firms, construction defect, and personal injury law practices.
Upon graduating law school, Aisja became the director of the top mediation facility in Nevada, allowing her to become expert-certified in Advanced Dispute Resolution while working with some of our state's most accomplished District and Supreme Court Justices.
In her personal time, Aisja enjoys traveling, exercising, and spending time with her family and dog. In 2021, she was crowned Miss Black Nevada and went on to become the first runner up in the Miss Black USA pageant. She frequently volunteers with various non-profits around the Nevada community and continues to lend her extensive legal experience to Nevada residents in any way that she can.
Amalie Zinsser
Formerly the director of community and belonging for UnCommons, Amalie now is a Regional Property Manager for Cushman and Wakefield. Bringing her passion for community and relationship building to this position, Zinsser is equipped with expertise in professional enrichment, which she has honed over nearly a decade of experience.
In her previous role, Zinsser played a vital part in shaping the culture at UnCommons, a mixed-use community designed to cater to the desires of the modern workforce. She successfully bridged the gap between development and community, instilling a sense of belonging and fostering genuine human connection. Through her efforts, UnCommons offered innovative tenant and resident programs, collaborative events, and panels featuring thought leaders, creating an elevated experience that facilitated harmonious collaboration and exponential growth.
Before joining Cushman and Wakefield, Zinsser contributed her knowledge and skills to WeWork as the people and portfolio operations director for five years. During her tenure, she provided guidance, mentorship, and leadership development to various teams while overseeing essential areas such as recruiting, hiring, training, and team member development. Additionally, Zinsser managed community partnerships and implemented standard operating procedures across her territory, which encompassed Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Phoenix.
A proud Las Vegas native, Zinsser finds joy in spending quality time with her husband, daughter and two dogs. She also maintains an active lifestyle, indulging in activities such as running, cycling, and pilates.
Ashley Burney
Ashley Burney is a community relations professional, public speaker, host and nonprofit executive. She has served the Las Vegas community for over 19 years. Ashley earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and holds a Diversity and Inclusion certification from Cornell University.
Ashley is the Founder and President of Heart To Heart LLC and Ashley Burney Consulting. Heart To Heart LLC is a media, events and products platform focused on empowering, motivating and uplifting women and the community. Visionary for Your Bold Is Beautiful (YBIB), a trademark registered event series and lifestyle brand, she takes pride in creating a safe space to enlighten and empower individuals to be bold in their truth. The annual Your Bold Is Beautiful (YBIB) Women’s Empowerment Summit has convened thousands of women and men in a life changing, energy shifting and inspiring atmosphere. This is Las Vegas’s most anticipated summit each year!
Heart To Heart LLC has many impactful programs to include the youth empowerment program, which has mentored over 3,700 at-risk students in the valley. Students who’ve completed the Heart To Heart youth empowerment program have shown tremendous success within their academics leading to improved social and emotional gains.
Ashley Burney Consulting has had the pleasure of engaging with corporations and individuals across the United States through the targeted services and initiatives. To include community and public relations services, diversity and inclusion trainings with an emphasis on improving engagement, counteracting unconscious bias, diversity and inclusion at work, and fostering an inclusive climate, effective communication and leadership strategies, designing revenue generating volunteer management program tools, one on one personal coaching incorporating goal setting, interview readiness, resume assistance, relationship building and interpersonal communication trainings.
Known for her infectious energy as a public speaker, Ashley has emceed events for United Way of Southern Nevada, Habitat for Humanity, Angels of Las Vegas, Juvenile Justice Impact, St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, Biletnikoff Foundation and many more. She has also partnered with the City of North Las Vegas, mentoring incarcerated women.
Ashley is known for her success working with influential and impactful organizations. Having secured millions of dollars in revenue furthering the organization’s reach and those served. She has led national organizational success committees offering strategies in developing processes and procedures.
Ashley has received Congressional Awards by Congresswoman Susie Lee and Senator Catherine Cortez Masto for her mentorship contributions in the community. Heart To Heart LLC received the 2022 T.U.L.I.P.S Mentoring Agency of the Year Award. A proud 2022 VEGAS INC and Las Vegas Weekly top 40 Under 40 honoree, MyVegas Magazine 2020 and 2019 Top 100 Women of the Year, Deluxe Version Magazine Top 20 in 2020 Philanthropist, 2019 Deluxe Version Magazine Women of Wonder, 2021 UNLV Alumni Spotlight and featured in Las Vegas Weekly for her appointment to the Board of Trustees for St. Jude’s Ranch for Children.
Anna Gomes
Anna Gomes is the part owner of Via Brasil Steakhouse in Las Vegas. Anna was born in Poland. She is married to Adam Gomes, the love of her life. She is an accomplished restaurateur, philanthropist, and loves to give back to the Las Vegas community.
Via Brasil offers the finest Rodizio dining experience with an emphasis on traditional Brazilian cuisine. The restaurant offers 19 different meats, salad bar and side dishes. Their Rodizio Brunch is also very popular that offers 8 meats, salad bar and sides as well as fresh made waffles, pancakes, crepes and eggs any style.
Anna also loves to host weddings because it's an important event for all their guests and always stay connected with her guests as they have all become family in Las Vegas. Anna & Adam look forward to open wedding venues in Las Vegas in 2024.
Gomes is a strong believer in customer service. She loves connecting with their guests. Hosting client events is one of her specialties, from Brazilian festivals hosting up to 4000 people to carnival parties at Via Brasil Steakhouse to help engage the community and bring awareness to Brazilian culture and cuisine.
When Anna is not busy working, she loves to spend time with her husband Adam at home with their three fur babies. She also enjoys being on their boat soaking in the sun in the summer or in Miami Florida at South Beach Home. Gomes is a big foodie and loves to travel to different destinations in and out of the country to experience different cuisines.
