Meet Cortney! Dr. Cortney Beasley is the visionary founder of two remarkable platforms, "Where Mamas Can Breathe" and "Put in Black," both dedicated to improving the well-being of individuals and communities.
With a PsyD degree from the esteemed joint program between Stanford University and the Pacific Graduate School of Psychology, Dr. Beasley brings a wealth of academic knowledge and clinical expertise to her work. Her training at The Center for Multicultural Training in Psychology, situated within Boston Medical Center and the Boston University School of Medicine, underscored her commitment to culturally sensitive care and diverse perspectives in mental health.
Dr. Beasley's journey is fueled by her belief in the inherent ability of individuals to care for themselves. She champions the transformative power of self-study and community engagement, recognizing that these are foundational elements of personal growth and empowerment.

Shivaun McCloud
Meet Shivaun! Originally from the Westside of Long Beach, California for almost 30 years, Shivaun McCloud has worked in education as a teacher administrator, parent educator, foster youth advocate, educational trainer, consultant, as well as post-secondary teacher education lead faculty at university of Phoenix.
In 2022 Shivaun founded Springdale’s Child Advocacy and Empowerment (SCAE), an educational advocacy firm that advocates with parents, trains parents and educators, and assists children and their families in orchestrating an enjoyable and rigorous education for their children.
Currently Shivaun is working on Springdale’s GLORY, a nonprofit organization designed to support children and their parents becoming more involved in their children’s education, as well as subsidize the advocacy work of SCAE. This organization will be launched in Fall of 2023. Shivaun lives in Las Vegas, NV with her husband, 4 children, and 3 dogs.

Sean Tory
Meet Sean! Sean Tory, M.S. is a Las Vegas native. He attended Canyon Springs Leadership & Law Preparatory Academy during high school and was a part of the Leadership magnet program. Past Gear UP & Upward bound student.
Received Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Nevada, Reno where he was a Trio Scholar. After graduating from The University of Nevada, Reno, he received his Master of Science Degree from UNLV in Marriage and Family Therapy.
He is currently a Ph.D Student at UNLV for Curriculum & Instruction with a concentration in Cultural Studies, International Education and Multicultural Education. Sr. Management Analyst at the City of Las Vegas. Sean is happily married, father of two beautiful girls with another on the way, community servant, and business owner.

Meet Dorian! “As a seasoned fitness coach with four years of experience, his journey is a testament to the transformative power of perseverance and resilience. In 2015, he was diagnosed with PTSD and anxiety, a turning point that led him to discover the incredible therapeutic benefits of fitness for mental health.
Over the past 20 months, he’s proudly embraced sobriety, using this newfound clarity to navigate life's challenges. Surviving a daunting fall from a four-story window underscored the fragility of life and fueled his commitment to making each moment count. Having once experienced homelessness as a child for three years, he carries the empathy and determination of those challenging times into his work as a speaker and philanthropist.
Through community events and heartfelt storytelling, he strives to inspire and uplift others, creating a positive ripple effect in the lives of those who need it most. His journey is a testament to the incredible strength that resides within us all, waiting to be harnessed for personal growth and positive change.”
